SVdP could not deliver the level of service it provides without hundreds of volunteers. We welcome volunteers of all ages and backgrounds to join us in our efforts to help improve the lives of those in need in our community. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. In 2009, SVdP volunteers provided over 116,780 hours of support in service to those in need.
Be a part of our work!
Volunteer opportunities include:
- Making home visits
- Collecting, stocking and distributing groceries
- Answering SVdP Helplines
- Helping at our Thrift Store
- Providing compassion—someone who listens and cares and offers a helping hand
