Enhanced Services for Asylees & Vulnerable Non Citizens (ESAVN) of St. Vincent de Paul

(Partnered Project with Catholic Charities California)

ESAVN is a resettlement service program funded through the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) for recently granted asylees and vulnerable noncitizens. We offer case management services to help participants access vital resources and reach goals to make their resettlement successful.

 

Ways we can help:

  • Connect individuals to Refugee Cash Assistance, Medi-Cal and CalFresh

  • Assist individuals in obtaining important documents like a CA Identification Card, CA Driver’s License, and I-94 card

  • Providing client-led goal planning 

  • School enrollment for children

 

Program Eligibility:

  • Individuals granted asylum in the U.S. within the past 12 months

  • Trafficking and Crime Victim Assistance Program (TCVAP ) noncitizen survivors of human trafficking, domestic violence, and other serious crimes who are preparing to file or have filed petitions for the T-Visa or have filed petitions for or received the U-Visa non-immigrant status with the appropriate federal agency. 

 

Individuals have until September 30th to enroll in the program. Participation is voluntary and they can withdraw at any time.
