VOLUNTEER

SVdP could not deliver the level of service it provides without hundreds of volunteers. We welcome volunteers of all ages and backgrounds to join us in our efforts to help improve the lives of those in need in our community. We encourage youth service. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Contact your local conference for information about local volunteer opportunities.

Volunteer opportunities include:

  • Joining a local parish conference and participating in their activities which include food pantries and distribution, home visits, holiday programs and much more.

  • Volunteering at the Thrift Store and helping with the many activities which may include sorting donations, hanging clothes, helping customers.

  • Becoming a mentor to returning citizens from the Sacramento Jail through our Exodus Project.
